This Cookie Policy (the "Policy") explains what cookies and similar technologies are used on jemio.ru, for what purposes, and how you can manage them.

This Policy is an integral part of the Personal Data Processing Policy and should be read together with it and with the Consent to Personal Data Processing.

1. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences (language choice, session state, consent) over time.

In addition to cookies, we use similar technologies: browser localStorage (to store the cookie consent flag), pixel tags, and web beacons (as part of analytics services).

2. Categories of Cookies Used

2.1. Strictly necessary (essential)

Ensure basic site functionality. Do not require user consent.

2.2. Analytics

Help us understand audience behaviour. Set only after consent via the cookie banner: until you click "Accept", the Yandex Metrica script is not loaded and none of the cookies listed below are set. If you refuse, or leave the page without choosing, analytics are not activated.

Yandex Metrica also includes a Webvisor feature that records cursor movements, clicks, and form filling (excluding password fields). Recordings are used in anonymised form for usability analysis.

2.3. Marketing / advertising

Not currently used. Should we introduce such cookies, we will update this Policy and request consent through a separate mechanism.

3. Legal Basis for Cookie Use

• EU / EEA users: GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC Art. 5(3) — consent for non-essential cookies;
• Russian users: 152-FZ Art. 6(1)(1) — consent of the data subject;
• Turkish users: KVKK No. 6698 Art. 5(1) — explicit consent for non-essential processing.

4. Managing Cookies

4.1. Consent banner

On your first visit, a cookie banner appears with two equally prominent buttons:

• "Accept" — you consent to analytics cookies, after which Yandex Metrica is loaded;
• "Reject" — no analytics cookies are set and Yandex Metrica is not loaded. The site keeps working in full on strictly necessary cookies.

Your choice is stored in localStorage under the key jemio.cookies.accepted. To change it, clear the site data in your browser — the banner will appear again.

4.2. Browser settings

You can delete cookies at any time and block future ones through your browser settings:

• Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
• Safari: Preferences → Privacy
• Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
• Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

Blocking essential cookies may affect site functionality.

4.3. Opting out of Yandex Metrica

You may opt out of Yandex Metrica data collection separately via the official tool: yandex.com/support/metrica/general/opt-out.html.

5. Third-Party Cookies

The following third-party cookies may be set on our site:

• Yandex LLC (Yandex Metrica) — processing rules: yandex.com/legal/confidential
• Yandex LLC (Yandex Forms) — the enquiry form on the site is embedded in a forms.yandex.ru frame. The service sets its own cookies, required for the form to work and to protect against automated submissions, and loads with the page because the enquiry cannot be submitted without it. We do not control cookies set directly by third parties and are not responsible for their policies.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may amend this Policy. The new version enters into force upon publication at jemio.ru/legal/cookies.

If new cookie categories are added (e.g. marketing), you will be prompted to renew consent via the cookie banner.
